The Origami / Annual Report
For the third consecutive year, we designed Fine Acts’ annual report, this time inspired by their new logo and visual identity (also developed in collab with us). Featuring origami instructions, custom patterns, and foldable designs, the report highlights Fine Acts’ playful spirit while also showcasing artworks from their TheGreats.co platform.
A standout feature of the 2022 edition is the origami folding instructions, which turn the report into an interactive, tactile experience. Such playful design aligns with Fine Acts’ “fun over format” philosophy when it comes to activism and addressing serious social issues. Each section of the report features a distinct colour scheme and custom pattern created with artwork/s featured on TheGreats.co, Fine Acts’ repository of socially engaged visual content available for anyone to use or adapt non-commercially. The designed report is fully optimised for both print and digital formats to ensure vibrant colours and precise folds, especially off-screen. In sum, Fine Acts’ annual report presents a tangible reminder of their vision of “playtivism.”
