Love Speech Symbol
Commissioned by Fine Acts, we created a powerful 'anti-hate speech' symbol for the "Reimagining Human Rights" project. This initiative provides free, evergreen visual content for activists and nonprofits, empowering global campaigns that tackle hate speech both online and offline.
Fine Acts, a nonprofit fostering social change through creative solutions, approached us in 2021 to develop a universally recognisable symbol for their "Reimagining Human Rights" project. The aim was to combat hate speech with a hopeful, visually compelling symbol that could be used globally by activists and nonprofits. Our design process focused on creating an image that was both emotionally resonant and adaptable across different cultures. The resulting symbol encapsulates activism and hope, offering a free, evergreen resource to support impactful campaigns. This project highlighted the role of design in amplifying social movements, empowering organisations with imagery that fosters inclusivity and promotes positive change.
