The Festival Summer Plovdiv is a continuation of the cultural programming which unfolded during the 2019 European Capital of Culture event. Together with Plovdiv 2019 Foundation and Plovdiv Munucipality, we worked on creating a vibrant visual identity that captures the essence of the spectacle’s diverse programme.

Our team developed a comprehensive set of deliverables, spanning a custom logo, typography, motion graphics and promotional materials. Drawing inspiration from the festival's eclectic mix of theatre, dance, and music of all genres, we've moulded a playful and colourful aesthetic that resonates with Plovdiv's artistic spirit.
At the heart of our design approach lies a clever fusion of paper collages and illustrations, elements that have become synonymous with Plovdiv's cultural landscape since its recognition as the European Capital of Culture in 2019.
This visual language not only pays homage to the city's rich cultural heritage but also ensures instant recognition amongst locals and visitors alike. Through our carefully curated typography and imagery, we've woven together a cohesive brand identity that promises to elevate Festival Summer Plovdiv's presence across print and digital media.
