The 2018 “Placemaking Connected” Conference sought to inspire and engage placemaking professionals by showcasing successful projects that prioritised community health and well-being. Commissioned by BG Be Active, we were tasked with creating a cohesive visual identity for the event. The challenge was to communicate the essence of placemaking – a people-centred approach to urban transformation – through every design element. By focusing on simple acts of participation that drive positive change, we crafted designs that conveyed a sense of collective responsibility for public spaces. Our work aimed to foster a deeper connection with the environment and inspire attendees to actively shape their urban surroundings. Through this project, we helped reinforce the message that placemaking is not just a professional task, but a shared community responsibility.
