Visualising Volunteerism
TimeHeroes, Bulgaria’s leading volunteering platform, commissioned us to visualise some key statistics from their annual report in a fun and engaging way. In doing so, they wanted to give a big, virtual hug to their supporters on social media.
Founded in 2011, TimeHeroes is the biggest volunteer platform in Bulgaria, whose aim is to bring together people who seek to solve various issues within their communities. To showcase the heartwarming impact of their platform while emphasizing compassion and connection, we created a series of custom illustrations featuring heart-shaped characters.
Integrating the heart symbol into all designs, allowed the important figures from the report to be represented through the themes of community, love, and mutual support. The deliberate use of various colours and playful compositions, also helped us highlight volunteers’ great achievements.
The final set of visuals, optimized for social media, not only communicated the numeric data clearly but also resonated with Time Heroes’ audience on a deeper emotional level.
