OurCluj Research Publication
OurCluj is an innovative urban project focusing on trust and care as key drivers of change. To showcase this vision, we created a unique print publication highlighting the ideas shaping a more inclusive future. As part of the global OurCity initiative, steered by SDG Colab and funded by Fondation Botnar, the publication explores how trust, care, and collaboration can transform communities.
The project operates under a Values-Based Urban Living Laboratory (VBULL) framework, focusing on three core actions: imagining futures, reconciling the past, and sharing power. To visually represent these concepts, we designed a multi-layered Venn diagram mapping connections between all participants and stakeholders. Complementing the book, 12 full-colour posters were created to stimulate creativity and encourage conversations about innovation and community building.
Throughout the process, over 10 contributors, including artists, curators, researchers and other professionals from the ArtiViStory Collective network, were actively involved in the project. This publication is more than just a nice design object and a tool—it's a catalyst for change and a call to action for those shaping the future of our cities.
