ONE Architecture Week / Un-common River
ONE Architecture Week, an annual international festival for architecture in Bulgaria, served as a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas across disciplines such as architecture, interior design, and urban planning. We partnered with ONE Foundation to create the visual identity for the event’s edition in Plovdiv.

In 2015, the festival's theme, "Un-common River," focused on the Maritsa River in Plovdiv, aiming to explore innovative approaches to community engagement and environmental stewardship.
The visual identity cleverly utilised the dash in "UN (-) COMMON RIVER" to symbolise connection and transformation, reflecting both the fluidity of the river and the stability of architectural interventions. This design insight not only enhanced the festival's branding but also created a striking graphic representation of the intersection between old and new narratives surrounding the river, fostering a sense of community and dialogue among participants. All project deliverables were designed to encapsulate the dynamic interplay between the river's natural beauty and human activity.
