The article explores the nuanced experiences of local artists, fostering a deeper understanding of their creative journeys. In creating the visual narrative to accompany the piece, we drew by hand a set of custom illustrations to match the editorial content, and later we brought to life all static drawings through the magic of motion graphics to enhance engagement on social media.
All designs focus on creating a visually appealing, playful and fun layout that resonates with the magazine's aesthetic while ensuring that the stories of local artists are told in a way that captivates readers’s attention and encourages critical thinking. The design approach cleverly balances sophisticated cultural discourse with accessible, light-hearted visuals, creating an engaging reader experience that elevates Nula32's position within Plovdiv's cultural landscape whilst making complex artistic discourse remarkably approachable.
